Fairview Mills is also aware that it is more economical to transport and store pet food in bags rather than bulk products. Fairview Mills can transload and bag your loose bulk pet food ingredients. It is much easier to transport your products from raw product to ready to use pet food. Send us whole corn for example. We can unload it, mill and package it however we need. Now your raw corn is ready for the next stage in the pet food industry.
THE FAIRVIEW MILLS TREATMENT
Packaging pet food ingredients in bags or tins is a decision that must be made. To ensure that your pet food ingredients are properly packaged, we run each product through our analytics laboratory to check for moisture, nutrients, and other metrics. To remove as much dust and chaff from your ingredients as possible, we then vigorously sift them. This helps improve the quality your pet food ingredients. Additionally, it ensures that a fifty-pound bag of pet food is full of your product and not with chaff. It will make it easier to track inventory accurately when you know that a 50-pound bag of corn Gluten is actually fifty pounds.
