Pet Food Extrusion

Fairview Mills is also aware that it is more economical to transport and store pet food in bags rather than bulk products. Fairview Mills, one of the J-Six Enterprises Divisions, has the infrastructure and capability to transload bulk pet food ingredients in loose containers and bag them according your requirements. This allows you to easily move your products from raw product into ready-to use pet food. Send us whole corn for example. We can unload it, mill and package it however we need. Your raw corn will now be ready for the next phase in the petfood processing industry.

THE FAIRVIEW MILLS TREATMENT

You want to ensure that your pet food ingredients are packaged in bags or totes. To ensure that your pet food ingredients are properly packaged, we run each product through our analytics laboratory to check for moisture, nutrients, and other metrics. Next, we vigorously sift your ingredients to get rid of as much dust and chaff. This process will improve the quality of pet food ingredients and ensure that your fifty-pound bag is completely filled with your product, not with chaff or dust. It will make it easier to track inventory accurately when you know that a 50-pound bag of corn Gluten is actually fifty pounds.
