Do you take reservations?
Yes, reservations are recommended given how busy the bar gets. The one exception is during Six Nations weekends, when seating runs first come, first served.
Is there a minimum spend for private events?

What's the best subway stop?
14th St–Union Square (L, N, Q, R, W, 4, 5, 6), or the L train's 3rd Avenue stop, which is directly across the street.
