Blood-thinning medication. Your risk of bleeding may increase if you are taking blood-thinning medications within one week after lipo. Elliott suggests avoiding blood thinners such as Advil and Motrin. Acetaminophen, which is similar to Tylenol (an over-the-counter option), can be used.
