The applicant must be in good physical condition, at least 18 years of age. Liposuction should not be performed on people with impaired immune systems, poor blood circulation, and diabetes mellitus.

In the 1920s, Charles Dujarier, a French surgeon presented body contouring techniques and fat reduction. It was impossible to have imagined how far it would go. The tunneling method was developed by physicians in the 1970s, 1980s, and even 1980s. This suction-assisted method is used today in lipo. Many lipo strategies are available today to help patients achieve their goals. Dr. Hochstein will recommend different liposuction options depending on your needs and goals.

Lipo can be used to treat specific conditions, but is most commonly used for aesthetic purposes.

For people looking to lose weight and get rid of excess body fat, liposuction is a popular option.

Dry liposuction removes the fat without the need for fluid injections. This method is not often used today. This technique is more vulnerable to bleeding and wounding.

To make it easier to eliminate fat, super-wet liposuction uses a dilute local sedative service. It injects approximately the same amount of fat as the amount to be removed. This method results in a greater blood loss than the tumescent, but a significantly lower rate than the damp. Because it uses less lidocaine, this method is less risky than tumescent lipso.

This is not a weight loss method. This is not a solution for excessive weight.

Lipo can be used for fat removal in areas where diet and exercise fail to reach. You know the areas that you care about, including your love handles, thighs, back, arms, under-chin, and thighs. These areas can be treated with liposuction to remove excess fat cells, which will make you look much better.

People who aren't elastic may have loose skin around treatment areas.

People who undergo liposuction have a tendency to lose weight quickly but still want to reduce body fat in some body areas.

Following ultrasonic liposuction surgery, suction-assisted liposuction is used for the removal of melted fat.

Results will be visible in 3 to 6 months depending on how much fat was removed.

You may not get the results you want after treatment. Temporarily, you may feel as though you have gained weight or that your body is larger. Lipo can reduce fat cells by up to 10 pounds, but liquid retention and swelling could make you appear bloated. As the swelling starts to decrease, you will start to notice the changes.

How can I keep my liposuction in check?

VASERlipo (r). VASERlipo r is a variant of ultrasonic liposuction. It loosens the fat cells and allows for a more natural removal. It can be performed under general or local anesthesia and may be used anywhere on the body including the love handles or thighs. This technique may be more effective for removing stubborn fat such as those in the flanks and back.

There are nonsurgical treatments for minor fat reduction:

Lipo permanently eliminates fat cells, and alters the body's form.

Power-assisted surgery uses a powered cannula that vibrates the fat cells to speed up and make it easier to remove. To numb and decrease bleeding, the cannula uses a tumescent liquid. The cannula's rapid action makes the procedure much easier for the doctor, and far less stressful and agonizing to the patient. This is a faster method to remove large quantities of fat than other options.
