About Us

About Denver Pain Management Clinic

Denver Pain Management Clinic is a Denver, Colorado practice built around one goal: helping people with chronic pain get their lives back. Led by Dr. Andrew Hong, we combine pharmacological pain management with holistic, adjunct therapies, so you get relief that lasts, not a quick fix. You don't have to suffer in silence, and you don't have to choose between medication and a whole-person approach. We offer both, matched to what actually works for you.

Our approach: pharmacological and holistic pain management, together

Chronic pain rarely responds to one treatment alone. That's why our model pairs narcotic and non-narcotic analgesic medications, prescribed and monitored carefully, with therapies that address the rest of what pain affects: sleep, mood, mobility, and day-to-day function.

Depending on your case, your treatment plan might include:

  1. Pharmacological pain management, including narcotic and non-narcotic medications
  2. Acupuncture
  3. Chiropractic care
  4. Physical therapy
  5. Massage therapy
  6. Yoga and meditation

We build each plan around you, not a standard protocol. Pain acts as a signal that your body needs help, and our job is to work out what that signal means in your specific case, then treat it from more than one angle.

Straight answers about medication, tolerance, and addiction

Patients considering narcotic pain medication almost always ask the same question first: will I become addicted? We answer it directly, every time. Tolerance, needing more of a medication over time to get the same effect, is a normal physiological response and is not the same thing as addiction. Whether medication carries meaningful addiction risk for you depends heavily on personal and family history, which is exactly why we review that history before prescribing anything and monitor your response afterward.

If you have questions about a specific medication or your own risk, ask us. That conversation is part of the plan, not an afterthought.

Long-term relief, not a quick fix

We describe what we do as long-term, sustainable pain management because that's the standard we hold ourselves to. Monthly evaluations let us adjust your plan as your pain, function, and circumstances change, instead of leaving you on the same prescription indefinitely with no one checking whether it's still right.

Chronic pain doesn't stay contained to the body. It shows up in relationships, in sleep, and in whether you can do your job. We treat the whole picture, not just the pain score.

Who we see

We treat adults with chronic or long-lasting pain, including back pain, neck pain, arthritis, neuropathy, and cancer-related pain. We accept referrals from physicians, employers, attorneys, and third-party payers, and se habla español.

Patients under 31 are asked to provide prior medical records before their first visit. Contact us and our team will walk you through exactly what's needed for your situation.
