It is possible to experience some discomfort, but not pain, during the procedure. The numbing lotion and local anesthesia may be used to treat deeper areas. We recommend that you return to our office within 24 to 48 hours to receive further treatment. This includes any additional drainage of excess sebum. The treatment involves inserting an insulated needle in the fat pad or wrinkle to treat acne. Radio frequency is used to trigger the right number of pulses for each area.
What is the recovery process like? The first week may bring about some redness, swelling, and even bruising. You may feel numbness for as long as four weeks after deeper treatments. When can I expect to see results? The area treated may appear worse after the procedure, which is normal. Over the following weeks or months, you will see a dramatic improvement in your skin. New collagen forms, and the skin tightens. This allows you to remold your structure to achieve the desired look. It is possible to get the best results with just one treatment.
